COR UNUM CERAMICS

Their ceramics are sold all over the world, from New York to Tokyo and they've collaborated with
both national and international designers such as Kiki van Eijk and Marc Newson. But are still manufactured in 's-Hertogenbosch, the city where I grew up: Cor Unum ceramics.
Today I got the chance to take a look around in their studio as they had an open door day. It's so beautiful to see the craftsmanship and to see passionate people make ceramics by hand.
What makes their designs so appealing is that their not afraid to give them an edge, by experimenting with color and shape.

Hun keramiek wordt over de hele wereld verkocht, van New York tot Tokio, en hebben samengewerkt met nationale en internationale ontwerpers zoals Kiki van Eijk en Marc Newson.
Maar wordt nog steeds vervaardigd in 's-Hertogenbosch, de stad waar ik opgroeide: Cor Unum keramiek. Vandaag kreeg ik de kans om een kijkje te nemen in hun atelier tijdens een open dag. Het is zo mooi om het vakmanschap en de gepassioneerde mensen te zien die keramiek met de hand maken. Wat hun ontwerpen zo aantrekkelijk maakt is dat ze niet bang zijn ze een 'edge' te geven door te experimenteren met kleur en vorm.
